Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
  • 6cloves garlic
  • 4cups fresh cherry tomatoesor 2 28 oz. cans whole Roma tomatoes in tomato juice, no additives
  • 3 large carrotschopped
  • 2tbsp. pasture-raised gheepasture-raised butter or extra-virgin coconut oil
  • 1 small yellow onionchopped
  • 1tbsp. fresh basil
  • 1tbsp. fresh oregano
  • 1tbsp. fresh thyme
  • 1tsp. pink Himalayan saltor sea salt
  • 1tsp. fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Throw all of the ingredients, except ghee, pasture-raised butter or extra-virgin coconut oil, in a high speed blender. Blend until completely pureed, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Melt ghee, butter or coconut oil in a large stainless steel pan over low heat.
  3. Pour the puree into the stainless steel pan, cover with a lid, and let heat on low for 25-30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
