Yesterday was a typical hot day here in the beautiful Hawaiian islands.
And we a friend over, so I decided to make us a classic lemonade.
And then I saw the fresh coconut water in the fridge and decided it was time to make a new recipe, coconut water lemonade! What better than that?!
So I got to work, and while taste testing the incredible flavor the coconut water brought to life, I decided to add some coconut kefir to add to the refreshment.
And then some strawberries.. And raw honey... I think I struck a gold mine.
It tasted incredible. So refreshing. So healthy. So delicious.

And don't be intimidated, it's like the easiest thing you could ever do to improve your health.
All you have to do is add the cultures to some coconut cream for yogurt, or coconut water for kefir.
Stir with a bamboo spoon, and then let it sit for 24 hours. If it's not warm where you live, you might need a dehydrator. This is the one I use. It's an excalibur with all stainless steel trays. I splurged for the stainless steel trays because I don't like the idea of hot plastic leeching into mine or my kids' food!
